Lifting: Never get under a vehicle supported only by a jack. Use rated jack stands on level, solid ground; chock wheels.
Electrical: Disconnect the negative battery cable before electrical work. Hybrid/EV orange high-voltage cables are lethal — do not touch. RV/marine shore power (120/240 V AC) and inverters can kill.
Marine electrical: Improper wiring can cause electric shock drowning and fires. Follow ABYC practices or hire a certified marine electrician.
Fuel & propane: Work outdoors away from flames and sparks; keep a fire extinguisher handy. If you smell propane, shut it off, evacuate, and call for service.
Carbon monoxide: Never run engines or generators in enclosed spaces. Keep CO detectors working in RVs, boats and homes. See CDC CO basics.
Hot & pressurized systems: Never open a hot radiator or water heater.
PPE: Eye protection, gloves, and no loose clothing near belts and fans.
